Paper-based ethnographic database for the comparative study of New Guinea religions. The resource contains excerpts from pre-1961 publications on aspects of religion in sixteen Papua New Guinea and Indonesian cultures. The excerpts are arranged according to the ethnolinguistic group they describe: Arapesh, Buka, Busama, Dobu, Gururumba, Iatmul, Keraki, Kiwai, Kuma, Kutubu, Manam, Orokaiva, Orokolo (Lemea), Tanga, Waropen, and Wogeo.
